Country Kitchen

Each room at the Bakehouse welcomes you with its own special ambiance.

This country kitchen warms the 'cockles'. A big stove to nourish the soul, and a big 'Bertha' of a wood heater that warms the coldest winter day.

Formal Lounge or Relaxation Room

The formal lounge or relaxation room is where you can feel a deep sense of peace.

This room is great for reading, contemplation, relaxing and it is large enough to also accommodate small retreat workshops (seats up to 15 people).

The Bedrooms

There's one Queen bedroom, one Double bedroom and a Single room - all designed for welcoming comfort at the end of the day. There's a Double Sofa Bed and a Single Sofa Bed too. The Bakehouse sleeps up to 8 people (maximum stay for 8 people is just 2 nights.)

The AV or Entertainment Room

The AV room, is where you can relax and watch TV, your favourite DVDs, or listen to your favourite music. It is also large enough for a teaching room. The lounge and single seater are sofa beds, so you can sleep three people in this room if you wish. (Note that there is local TV reception but no radio reception available in the Bakehouse)

The Bathroom

Humongous shower alcove within the bright, light, slate bathroom.

In addition, the original Bakehouse with its large Baker's Oven is there for you to experience.
